Description

These homemade Pizza Rolls are a Totino’s copycat recipe—crispy, golden wonton wrappers stuffed with gooey mozzarella, zesty pizza sauce, and savory turkey pepperoni. They’re the perfect bite-sized snack or appetizer for game day, parties, or anytime pizza cravings strike.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Filling

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped turkey pepperoni
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp chopped basil
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

For Assembly

  • 25 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Make filling: In a bowl, combine mozzarella, pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni, red pepper flakes, oregano, parmesan, basil, and parsley. Mix well.
  2. Assemble rolls: Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add 1 tablespoon of filling to the center. Moisten edges with water and fold into a rectangle or triangle, pressing edges firmly to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. Heat oil: In a deep skillet or pot, heat 2 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry: Fry rolls in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve: Serve hot with extra pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • Seal wrappers tightly to prevent filling from leaking while frying.
  • For a lighter version, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes instead of frying.
  • Experiment with fillings like sausage, veggies, or different cheeses.
