Description

These homemade cinnamon sticks are a perfect Pizza Hut copycat recipe! Soft, buttery, and coated in cinnamon-sugar, they are served with a sweet vanilla glaze for dipping. The ultimate quick dessert or snack for cinnamon lovers!


Ingredients

For the Cinnamon Sticks:
  • 2 (13.8 oz) tubes pizza crust dough

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar (divided)

For the Vanilla Glaze:

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp clear vanilla extract

  • 2-3 tbsp milk (adjust for desired consistency)


Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare Dough:

    • Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).

    • Remove pizza crust dough from tubes, combine into one large dough ball, and let it come to room temperature.

  • Prepare the Baking Dish:

    • Brush melted butter on the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 9ร—13-inch baking dish (reserve some butter for later).

    • In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle 2 tsp of the mixture over the butter.

    • Sprinkle 1 tbsp of brown sugar on top.

  • Shape & Cut the Dough:

    • Roll and stretch the dough to fit the baking dish.

    • Press it down evenly with your fingers.

    • Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into 16 sticks (cut lengthwise, then into 8 sections).

  • Add Toppings & Bake:

    • Brush the remaining melted butter over the dough.

    • Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture and brown sugar evenly on top.

    • Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Make the Glaze:

    • In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.

    • Drizzle some glaze over the warm cinnamon sticks and serve the rest for dipping.
