Description

These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are the ultimate easy party food or weeknight dinner recipe! Tender slices of steak, melted provolone, and garlicky sautรฉed onions and peppers come together between soft Hawaiian rollsโ€”brushed with buttery garlic topping and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for game day, family dinners, or anytime youโ€™re craving a cheesy, savory bite-sized sandwich. Whether youโ€™re after quick dinner ideas, easy slider recipes, or high-protein recipes for dinner, this one hits the mark!

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls

  • 1 lb sliced steak (ribeye or flank steak)

  • 8 slices provolone cheese

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp butter

ย

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).

  2. Sautรฉ veggies: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, onions, and bell peppers. Sautรฉ until soft and fragrant, about 5โ€“7 minutes.

  3. Cook steak: Add sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Assemble sliders: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Layer with the steak mixture, then provolone cheese. Top with the roll tops.

  5. Butter brush & bake: Brush the tops with remaining garlic butter. Bake for 15โ€“20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

  6. Serve: Slice and serve warm. Perfect with a side salad, fries, or chips!

Notes

  • Swap provolone with mozzarella or pepper jack for a spicy twist.

  • Make ahead and reheat in the oven just before serving for parties.

  • Add mushrooms or hot peppers for extra flavor.
