Description

This Pecan Pie Dip is a decadent and irresistible dessert dip perfect for holidays, parties, or cozy nights in. A fluffy cream cheese base is topped with a warm, gooey pecan pie-inspired topping that’s rich, nutty, and totally addictive. Serve it with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels for the ultimate crowd-pleaser. Easy to make in just 20 minutes, it’s a no-bake dessert you’ll turn to again and again.

Ingredients

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 ounces brick cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

For the Pecan Pie Topping:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 3 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces

  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup

  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt

For Serving:

  • Apple wedges

  • Pretzel crisps

  • Graham crackers

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, use a handheld mixer to beat the cream cheese until creamy and smooth. Add the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar, then whip until fully blended and fluffy.

  • Spread the mixture evenly into the bottom of a pie dish or shallow serving bowl. Refrigerate while preparing the topping.

  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, pecans, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Stir constantly until mixture comes to a gentle bubble.

  • Continue stirring and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool for 10–15 minutes.

  • Stir the pecan topping, then pour it evenly over the chilled cream cheese layer.

  • Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve. Allow to sit at room temperature or warm in the microwave for 10–15 seconds before serving for easier dipping.

  • Enjoy with your favorite dippers like apple slices, pretzels, or graham crackers.

Notes

  • Make ahead by preparing the layers separately and assembling just before serving.

  • Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Microwave the topping gently to loosen before serving if needed.
