- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Combine diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
- Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the peach filling evenly over the dough. Roll up tightly into a log, then cut into 12 equal slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- You can use canned peaches if fresh ones aren’t in season—just make sure to drain them well.
- These rolls are best enjoyed warm, but they can be reheated in the microwave for 10–15 seconds the next day.
