Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Combine diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the peach filling evenly over the dough. Roll up tightly into a log, then cut into 12 equal slices.
  4. Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  7. Drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • You can use canned peaches if fresh ones aren’t in season—just make sure to drain them well.
  • These rolls are best enjoyed warm, but they can be reheated in the microwave for 10–15 seconds the next day.
  • Feel free to add chopped pecans or a dash of nutmeg to the filling for extra flavor.
