Description

This tropical smoothie combines the sweetness of papaya and pineapple with the creamy texture of banana and yogurt, creating a refreshing drink perfect for any time of day. A hint of fresh ginger adds an extra zing to this healthy, vibrant smoothie.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 medium frozen peeled banana, sliced (about 1 cup)
  • 1 cup seeded, peeled, and chopped fresh papaya
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup whole-milk plain yogurt
  • 1 small kiwi, peeled and chopped (1/4 cup), plus more for garnish
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Instructions

  • Combine the banana, papaya, pineapple, almond milk, yogurt, chopped kiwi, and fresh ginger in a blender.
  • Process until smooth and creamy, about 1 to 2 minutes, increasing speed from low to high. Use a tamper if necessary to help the ingredients blend.
  • Pour the smoothie into 2 glasses.
  • Garnish with additional kiwi slices if desired.

Notes

  • You can use any other non-dairy milk of your choice in place of almond milk.
  • For a thicker smoothie, add more frozen fruit or a few ice cubes.
