Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Preheat & Prepare:

  • Preheat a cast-iron skillet or heavy pan over medium-high heat.
  • Pat halibut fillets dry with paper towels.

  • Rub fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
  • Add olive oil or butter to the skillet.
  • Sear halibut for 3โ€“4 minutes per side until golden brown and opaque in the center.
