Description

A decadent Orange Infused Chocolate Cheesecake layered with a buttery chocolate graham crust, creamy chocolate-orange filling, and glossy ganache topping. A luxurious twist on a classic dessert.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 1/3 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs (about 1 1/2 sleeves finely ground)
  • 24 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp orange blossom water
  • 2 tbsp grated orange rind
  • 3/4 cup melted semi-sweet chocolate, slightly cooled
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
  • 1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine melted butter and chocolate graham cracker crumbs. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add cocoa powder, cornstarch, vanilla, orange blossom water, and orange rind. Mix until combined.
  4. Blend in melted chocolate. Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined. Stir in heavy cream.
  5. Pour filling over the crust. Place pan in a larger baking dish with 1 inch of hot water. Bake for 55–60 minutes until the center is just set.
  6. Turn off oven, crack door open, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour. Remove and cool completely before refrigerating for 6 hours or overnight.
  7. For ganache, heat 1/4 cup cream until steaming, pour over chocolate chips, let sit for 2 minutes, then stir smooth. Spread over chilled cheesecake and garnish with fresh orange zest.

Notes

  • Use room temperature ingredients for the smoothest batter.
  • Do not overmix; it can cause cracks.
  • Bake in a water bath for creamy texture.
  • Chill overnight for the best flavor and clean slices.
  • Top with whipped cream or candied orange peel for extra elegance.
