Warm, gooey baked brie nestled inside a crusty bread bowl and topped with sweet jam, crunchy pistachios, and fragrant rosemary for the ultimate shareable appetizer.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 large round crusty bread loaf
  • 8 ounces brie cheese wheel
  • 1/3 cup dark fruit jam
  • 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate arils (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Using a sharp knife, slice the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving sturdy sides and bottom.
  3. Place the brie cheese wheel into the hollowed bread bowl.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the dark fruit jam with chopped pistachios and rosemary.
  5. Spoon the jam mixture evenly over the brie.
  6. Place the bread bowl on a baking dish and bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the brie is soft and melty.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with pomegranate arils if using.
  8. Serve immediately by tearing off bread pieces and dipping into the melted brie.

Notes

  • Serve while warm for the best gooey texture.
