Description

Nutella Biscotti Bars are soft, chewy bars with a tender base infused with Nutella, perfect for breakfast, snack, or dessert.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Type 00 flour: 250 g
  • Leavener (lievito in polvere per dolci): 8 g
  • Salt: pinch
  • Sugar: 100 g
  • Egg: 1
  • Neutral oil: 70 ml
  • Nutella: 140 g

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, leavener, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together egg and neutral oil.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Spread half of the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  6. Warm Nutella slightly if needed and spread over the batter layer.
  7. Top with the remaining batter, spreading carefully to cover the Nutella layer.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

  • Type 00 flour can be substituted with all-purpose flour if unavailable.
  • Warm Nutella slightly to make it easier to spread.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
