These no-bake chocolate peanut butter banana oat bars are chewy, rich, and perfectly sweet. Made with oats, ripe bananas, and a smooth chocolate-peanut butter layer, they’re an easy and wholesome snack or dessert with no oven required.

- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (for topping)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and salt. Stir until fully combined.
- Mix in the oats until thick and sticky.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan, flattening the top with a spatula.
- Melt chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter together in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the oat base and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- Lift from the pan, slice into bars, and serve cold or at room temperature.
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for the best natural sweetness.
- Press the mixture firmly to help the bars hold their shape.
- For a more indulgent finish, sprinkle sea salt on top before chilling.
