Description

These No-Bake Chocolate Bird Nests are a fun and easy way to celebrate spring and Easter! Made with Rice Krispies, peanut butter, and melted chocolate, these edible nests are topped with Cadbury mini eggs, creating a delightful and festive treat. Whether for Easter or a springtime celebration, these chocolate bird nests will be a hit with both kids and adults!


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cocoa Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 36 Cadbury mini eggs

Instructions

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals on low power, stirring in between each interval until fully melted.
  • Stir together the peanut butter and melted chocolate.
  • Pour the chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the Rice Krispies and stir until the cereal is fully coated.
  • Grease a 12-count muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.
  • Scoop the mixture evenly into the muffin tin, ensuring the cups are full.
  • Use a round measuring spoon to slightly hollow out the center of each nest.
  • Place the muffin tin in the fridge or freezer to harden the nests.
  • Once the nests are hardened, place three Cadbury mini eggs in the center of each nest.
  • Let set and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can make these nests ahead of time and store them in the fridge for up to a week.
