Description

Neiman Marcus Cake is a rich and indulgent dessert made with a buttery yellow cake base and a decadent cream cheese topping. Sweet, gooey, and irresistibly soft, it’s perfect for holidays, potlucks, or whenever you crave an old-fashioned Southern-style treat.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs (divided)

  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until combined. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining 2 eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, then beat until fully combined.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is just set but still slightly gooey.
  6. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
