- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian herb blend
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12×10 inches.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then layer with pepperoni slices.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, sealing the edges.
- Cut the log into 1- to 1.5-inch pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, sea salt, Italian herb blend, black pepper, oregano, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, and parsley.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of each puff.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the puffs are golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
