Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with lemon zest, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sautรฉ for 5โ€“6 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and add the minced garlic. Sautรฉ for 1โ€“2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let it bubble for a few minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked linguine into the skillet, tossing gently to coat with the sauce. Return the chicken to the pan and mix well to combine.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm. Enjoy the zesty, buttery, creamy goodness!

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
