Description

A hearty and comforting kielbasa potato and green bean casserole made with smoky sausage, tender roasted potatoes, and vibrant green beans. This one pan meal is simple, filling, and packed with rustic flavor.

  • 400 grams kielbasa sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, about 800 grams, peeled and cubed
  • 300 grams fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cubed potatoes, sliced kielbasa, trimmed green beans, minced garlic, olive oil, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Toss thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly coated with oil and seasoning.
  4. Lightly grease a large baking dish.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in a single layer in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are fork tender and lightly golden and the sausage is browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve warm directly from the dish.
