Ingredients

Units Scale
  • For Jaymee Sirewich:
  • 1 sandwich roll (preferably Dutch Crunch)
  • Dirty sauce (recipe below)
  • 1โ€“2 fried chicken thighs or fried cutlets or chicken fingers (cooked/warmed)
  • 2 slices pepper jack cheese
  • Golden BBQ Sauce (recipe below)
  • Ranch dressing
  • Shredded lettuce
  • For Ikeโ€™s Dirty Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 pinches garlic granules (or more if you really like garlic!)
  • 2 pinches cayenne
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • Pinch onion granules
  • Splash of dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (Mikeโ€™s Hot Honey preferred)
  • For Golden BBQ Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey (Mikeโ€™s Hot Honey for extra kick)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2โ€“3 pinches cayenne
  • 2 pinches garlic granules
  • 2 pinches onion granules
  • 1โ€“2 pinches kosher salt

Instructions

  1. For Jaymee Sirewich:
Split the roll in half lengthwise. Spread with dirty sauce. Broil or air fry for 1-2 minutes, or until dirty sauce has โ€˜baked intoโ€™ the bread.
  2. Top the bottom of the roll with fried chicken and pepper jack cheese. Place back in the air fryer, toaster oven, or under the broiler until the cheese melts.
  3. Drizzle with golden BBQ sauce and ranch dressing, then top with shredded lettuce and any other desired sandwich toppings. Place the top of the roll and cut in half. Enjoy!
  4. For Ikeโ€™s Dirty Sauce:
Mix all ingredients and adjust for taste. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  5. For Golden BBQ Sauce:
Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat over medium until sugars dissolve and the mixture reduces slightly. Cool and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of cayenne in the sauces to suit your spice preference.
  • Mikeโ€™s Hot Honey is recommended for both the dirty sauce and golden BBQ sauce for extra flavor, but regular honey can be used as a substitute.
  • Feel free to add any extra toppings, like pickles or tomatoes, to suit your taste.
