- 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour a 9ร13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions, using 1 cup water, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup vegetable oil. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, sugar, 5 eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Carefully spoon the ricotta mixture over the cake batter, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface. Do not stir or mix the two layers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

- While the cake is cooling, prepare the chocolate pudding by whisking together the instant pudding mix and 1 cup milk in a separate bowl. Let the pudding set for about 5 minutes.
