This Hot Honey Halloumi Chicken Rice is a perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavors with crispy chicken and tangy halloumi. Easy to make and perfect for meal prep or a quick dinner!

- Chicken breasts (or thighs), seasoned
- Halloumi cheese, sliced
- Cooked rice
- 2 tbsp hot honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Chili flakes (optional for extra heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Season chicken breasts or thighs with salt and pepper.
- Cook the chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 7-8 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Cook the halloumi: In the same skillet, add a little olive oil and cook the halloumi slices until golden brown on both sides.
- Prepare the rice: Warm the cooked rice in the skillet, stirring occasionally.
- Add hot honey: Drizzle hot honey over the chicken and halloumi, and sprinkle chili flakes for extra heat, if desired.
- Assemble the dish: Serve the chicken and halloumi on top of the rice and drizzle any remaining honey over the top.
