Description

These Honey Butter Feta Rolls feature a savory filling of feta, spinach, garlic, dill, and artichoke hearts, wrapped in crispy phyllo pastry and baked to golden perfection. Dipped in warm honey butter with a touch of spice, they make the perfect appetizer or snack

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 sheet phyllo pastry
  • 140g feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup artichoke hearts
  • Oil (for air frying/baking)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Pinch of chili flakes

Instructions

  • If using frozen phyllo pastry, allow it to thaw completely to prevent breaking.
  • In a food processor, blend feta, spinach, garlic, dill, and artichoke hearts until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a Ziploc or piping bag.
  • Lay out the phyllo pastry and cut it into three equal sections. Take two sheets from one section and pipe some feta filling along the edge.
  • Brush the edges with oil, fold, and roll into a spring roll shape. Repeat with the remaining filling. If leftover phyllo remains, refreeze for another use.
  • Preheat oven or air fryer to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).
  • Arrange rolls on a baking sheet and brush with oil. Bake or air fry for 3-5 minutes per side, flipping to ensure even crisping.
  • While baking, heat butter, honey, and chili flakes in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir well.
  • Serve the crispy feta rolls warm with honey butter for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Be patient when thawing phyllo pastry to prevent breakage.
  • For extra crispiness, brush with more oil before baking.
  • Adjust chili flakes for more or less spice.
