- 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix, milk, and sour cream until smooth. Set aside.
- Arrange half of the angel food cake cubes in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
- Spoon half of the cherry pie filling over the cake layer, spreading evenly.
- Add the remaining cake cubes, then pour the pudding mixture evenly on top.
- Spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer, smoothing the surface.
- Top with the remaining cherry pie filling, sliced almonds, and maraschino cherries.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving to let the layers set.
