Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe bananas, mashed

  • 6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (divided: 3/4 cup for batter, 1/4 cup for topping)

  • 1/2 to 1 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips (optional, for extra chocolatey flavor)

  • 3 tbsp agave syrup or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)


Instructions

  • Preheat and Prepare the Pan

    • Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).

    • Grease an 8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

  • Mix the Brownie Batter

    • In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.

    • Add cocoa powder, ยพ cup peanut butter, and optional agave/maple syrup.

    • Mix until fully combined. Stir in chocolate chunks if using.

  • Transfer to Baking Pan

    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

  • Swirl Peanut Butter Topping

    • Microwave the remaining ยผ cup peanut butter for about 20 seconds until drippy.

    • Drizzle over the batter and use a knife to swirl it into the top.
