- 24 Hawaiian rolls
- 6 tablespoons butter, partially melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (or 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20 pepperoni slices
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the partially melted butter, garlic, and dried parsley.
- Slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls into the baking dish.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the rolls.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly, then layer pepperoni and parmesan.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Brush the tops generously with garlic butter.
- Bake uncovered for 18–22 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
- Remove from oven, let rest briefly, then pull apart and serve.
Notes
- Use low-moisture mozzarella to avoid soggy rolls.
- Add toppings sparingly so the rolls bake evenly.
- Let rest a few minutes before serving for cleaner pull-apart pieces.
- Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
