Description

This Grilled Apple Cheddar Sandwich combines sharp cheddar, crisp apples, and grainy mustard on buttery, toasted bread for a deliciously balanced sweet-and-savory bite. A quick and satisfying meal perfect for lunch or a cozy snack!

  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, see notes)
  • Grainy mustard or Dijon mustard, to taste
  • 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • Thin slices of peeled Fuji or Granny Smith apples

Instructions

  • If using mayonnaise, mix it with butter in a small bowl.
  • Spread the butter (or butter-mayo mixture) on one side of each bread slice.

  • Spread mustard on the unbuttered side of one bread slice.
