- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil leaves (1 teaspoon dried)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh oregano leaves (1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 1 garlic clove, minced (1/4 teaspoon powder)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper or freshly cracked to taste
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- Drizzle of olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the goat cheese (or cream cheese), chives, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a log and roll it in the finely chopped pecans until evenly coated.
- Drizzle with olive oil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Serve with crackers, sliced vegetables, or toasted baguette slices for dipping.
Notes
- If you prefer a creamier texture, use all cream cheese in place of the goat cheese.
