These Garlic Butter Steak Bites are perfectly seared, tossed in aromatic garlic butter, and paired with creamy mashed potatoes and a decadent Parmesan cream sauce. A true indulgence for steak lovers!

- For the Steak:
- 2 lbs steak filet, ribeye, sirloin, etc.
- 4โ5 tablespoons avocado oil
- For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- 5 tablespoons butter, divided
- 10 cloves garlic, minced and divided
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 green onions, diced green and white parts
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2/3 cup parmesan (grated/shredded/shaved)
- For the Cheesy Mashed Potatoes:
- 4 lbs russet potatoes
- 1 cup half and half (warmed)
- 6 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
- 3/4 cup monterey jack cheese (or mozzarella, pepper jack, etc.)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- Pepper to taste
- For the Homemade Blackened Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika (regular paprika works too)
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Cut the steak into 2-3โณ pieces. Rub with avocado oil and season with blackened seasoning. Let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
- Peel and quarter potatoes. Soak in cold water for 10 minutes, then drain and cook in salted water until fork-tender.
- Heat 2-3 tablespoons avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak in batches, undisturbed for 2 minutes until golden, then flip and cook for 1 more minute. Reduce heat to low and cook for another minute. Remove steak and tent with foil.
- Add 3 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon garlic to the skillet. Sautรฉ until fragrant, then toss steak in garlic butter for another minute.
- For the cream sauce, add remaining butter and garlic to the skillet. Sautรฉ until fragrant, then whisk in heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- For the mashed potatoes, drain water and mash with melted butter, half and half, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve steak bites over the cheesy mashed potatoes and drizzle with the Parmesan cream sauce. Enjoy!
