Description

This one-pan Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet is a quick, hearty meal packed with juicy NY strip steak, golden potatoes, and fragrant herbs. Itโ€™s an easy weeknight dinner thatโ€™s full of flavor and ready in no time!


Ingredients

  • 5 lbs NY strip steak, sliced into strips

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 lb baby golden potatoes, quartered or halved

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, divided

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • 1 tsp rosemary

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  • Sautรฉ the Potatoes:

    • Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Add potatoes, herbs, salt, and pepper.

    • Cook for 3โ€“5 minutes, stirring often, until fork-tender. Set aside.

  • Cook the Steak:

    • In the same skillet, melt remaining 1 tbsp butter.

    • Add sliced NY strip steak and cook to desired doneness, stirring occasionally.

  • Combine & Serve:

    • Return potatoes to the skillet, toss everything together, and season to taste.

    • Serve hot and enjoy!
