Garlic Butter Pizza Egg Rolls are crispy, cheesy, and loaded with pizza flavor in every bite. Packed with mozzarella, pepperoni, herbs, and served with marinara, these rolls are brushed with sage garlic butter for a crave-worthy appetizer or snack.

- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 pinch chili flakes
- 2 cloves garlic, grated (divided use)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 โ 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- 12โ16 square egg roll wrappers
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced pepperoni
- 8 tablespoons salted butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 425ยฐF and lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
- Make Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup Parmesan, basil, oregano, parsley, chili flakes, and 1 grated garlic clove. Stir in mozzarella.
- Assemble Rolls: Brush water around edges of each egg roll wrapper. Layer with 1 tablespoon marinara, 1 slice provolone, 1 tablespoon cheese mixture, and 1 pepperoni slice. Roll tightly and place on baking sheet.
- First Bake: Melt 5 tablespoons butter and brush over rolls. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan. Bake 10โ12 minutes, then flip, add 1โ2 pepperoni slices on top, and bake another 8โ10 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Make Garlic Butter: Melt remaining 3 tablespoons butter with sage until sage is crisp. Remove from heat and stir in remaining garlic.
- Serve: Drizzle garlic butter over rolls and serve with warm marinara on the side.
Notes
- Donโt overfill the rolls or they may burst while baking.
- Use store-bought or homemade marinara for dipping.
- These can be prepped ahead and frozen unbaked for quick snacks laterโjust bake straight from frozen, adding a few extra minutes.
- Swap pepperoni for chopped mushrooms or spinach for a vegetarian version.
