1/4 cup butter, thinly sliced into 6 pats

24 frozen Italian beef meatballs

4 ounces shredded Gruyere Swiss cheese

Preheat oven to 425ยฐF. Coat a 9ร13 casserole dish with nonstick spray.

Add the sliced mushrooms, beef broth, French onion soup, dry rice, and chopped thyme to the casserole dish and stir to combine.

Top with the 6 pats of butter (arranged in 3 rows of 2).
