Whether youโ€™re hunting for quick and easy dinner recipes with ground beef alternatives, recipes appetizers and snacks, or simple high protein meals, this oneโ€™s a must-try!

Ingredients

Horseradish Mayo

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice

  • 1 to 2 tsp. prepared horseradish (to taste)

  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard

  • Kosher salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Biscuit Sandwiches

ย

  • 1 (16.3 oz) can biscuits (or 8 homemade unbaked biscuits)

  • 14 oz thinly sliced deli roast beef

  • 8 slices provolone cheese, cut into quarters

  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted (divided)

  • 1 (1 oz) packet au jus gravy mix

  • Sliced chives (optional)

  • Flaky sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

Make Horseradish Mayo

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, horseradish, and mustard.

  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Make Ahead: Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the fridge.

Assemble and Bake Biscuit Sandwiches

ย

  1. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

  2. Split each biscuit in half using your fingers, creating 16 thin rounds. Gently stretch each round to about 4 inches in diameter.

  3. Place 8 biscuit rounds on the prepared baking sheet. Spread 1โ€“2 tsp horseradish mayo on each. Top with roast beef and 4 small pieces of provolone (overlapping if needed).

  4. Spread another 1โ€“2 tsp horseradish mayo on the remaining 8 biscuit rounds and place on top, mayo-side down. Pinch the edges of top and bottom biscuits to seal.

  5. Brush tops with 1 Tbsp melted butter.

  6. Bake for 15โ€“18 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted.

  7. Meanwhile, prepare au jus according to package instructions.

  8. Once baked, brush biscuits with the remaining 1 Tbsp butter. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and chives if using.

  9. Serve hot with au jus for dipping.

Notes

  • Customize with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, or mushrooms.

  • Works great as a game-day snack or hearty lunch.

  • Use leftover roast beef or prime rib for a next-level upgrade.

ย

  • If using homemade biscuit dough, roll thin for best results.
