Description

This Easy Pumpkin Tiramisu Dessert is a seasonal twist on the classic Italian dessert. Layers of pumpkin-spiced cream, mascarpone, and coffee-soaked ladyfingers come together to create a rich, creamy, and spiced treat perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 15-ounce can pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 packages dry ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix pumpkin puree, light brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and ¼ cup of granulated sugar until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, cream cheese, and remaining ¼ cup granulated sugar until creamy.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture gently.
  4. Fold pumpkin mixture into the mascarpone and whipped cream mixture until fully combined.
  5. Dip ladyfingers briefly into cooled brewed coffee and arrange a layer in the bottom of a serving dish or trifle dish.
  6. Spread half of the pumpkin mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers on top, then spread the remaining pumpkin mascarpone mixture.
  8. Top with whipped cream and dust lightly with cocoa powder.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Do not soak ladyfingers too long in coffee to avoid soggy layers.
  • Use full-fat mascarpone and cream cheese for a richer, creamier texture.
  • Optional: sprinkle a pinch of pumpkin pie spice on top for extra flavor.
