Description

These Easy Pan Fried Ravioli are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making a delicious twist on classic ravioli. Served with marinara sauce and a sprinkle of Parmesan, they’re perfect as an appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 25 ounces ravioli, frozen or refrigerated
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and pat dry.
  2. In a shallow bowl, beat eggs. In another shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
  3. Dip each ravioli into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the ravioli in batches, about 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with marinara sauce and additional Parmesan on top.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen ravioli; adjust frying time accordingly.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or Italian herbs to the breadcrumb mixture.
