Description

This Easy Lemon Mousse is a light and silky dessert made with fresh lemon juice, whipped cream, and a touch of vanilla. It is airy, creamy, and perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, making it an elegant no bake treat ready with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, from 2 medium lemons
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Chill a large mixing bowl and beaters for best whipping results.
  2. Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into the chilled bowl.
  3. Using a hand mixer, whip the cream until soft peaks begin to form.
  4. In a separate small bowl, stir together granulated sugar, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until the sugar starts to dissolve.
  5. Gently fold the lemon mixture into the whipped cream using a spatula, being careful not to deflate the cream.
  6. Continue folding until the mixture is smooth and fully incorporated.
  7. Spoon or pipe the mousse into serving glasses or jars.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the mousse to set properly.
