Instructions

- Prepare the Jello: While the cake is baking, dissolve the lemon Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until it is completely dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water to the mixture and set it aside to cool.
- Poke the Cake: Once the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Use the handle of a wooden spoon or a fork to poke holes all over the top of the cake, about 1 inch apart.
- Add the Jello: Pour the prepared Jello mixture evenly over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes. Allow the cake to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
