- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups Oreos, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate: In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips until smooth. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Mix wet ingredients: Whisk in white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Add dry ingredients: Sift in flour and cocoa powder, gently folding until just combined.
- Stir in Oreos: Fold in 1 1/2 cups chopped Oreos into the batter.
- Bake: Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining Oreos on top. Bake 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool & serve: Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Do not overbake—brownies should be slightly underdone for maximum fudginess.
