Description

This creamy slow cooker chicken and gravy is a comforting, family-favorite meal! Made with just a few affordable ingredients, itโ€™s easy, flavorful, and perfect for busy weeknights. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta for a hearty dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2โ€“3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Black pepper and garlic powder, to taste

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with black pepper and garlic powder.
  • In the crockpot, whisk together the water, cream of chicken soup, and chicken gravy mix.
  • Add the chicken to the crockpot and coat it with the gravy mixture.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
  • Shred the chicken using two forks, then stir in the sour cream.
  • Let it warm for 15 minutes before serving.
