Description

These Easy Chocolate Coconut Haystacks are soft, chewy, and packed with rich chocolate flavor. Made without an oven, these no-bake treats come together in under 30 minutes, making them a perfect quick dessert or snack!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, milk, butter, and salt. Stir occasionally until melted.
  • Bring to a boil and let bubble for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the rolled oats, shredded coconut, and cocoa powder.
  • Pour the hot sugar mixture over the dry ingredients and fold together until fully combined.
  • Scoop and form into mounds, placing them on a parchment-lined tray.
