Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Topping:
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1/4 cup seasoned panko bread crumbs
  • 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Shrimp:
  • 2 pounds large raw shrimp, thawed and peeled (tail on or off)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine (Pinot Grigio recommended)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (bottled or fresh)
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic, heaping (jarred)
  • A few dashes garlic salt
  • A few dashes Cajun seasoning
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
  • 1/2 stick salted butter
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shreds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, white wine, lemon juice, minced garlic, garlic salt, Cajun seasoning, and Italian herb seasoning until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Dot with 1/2 stick of butter and sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shreds.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, panko bread crumbs, and 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese for the topping. Sprinkle evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through and the topping is golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges or over pasta if desired.

Notes

  • You can leave the tails on for presentation or off for easier eating.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
  • Serve with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce.
