- Topping:
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
- 1/4 cup seasoned panko bread crumbs
- 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Shrimp:
- 2 pounds large raw shrimp, thawed and peeled (tail on or off)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine (Pinot Grigio recommended)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (bottled or fresh)
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic, heaping (jarred)
- A few dashes garlic salt
- A few dashes Cajun seasoning
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
- 1/2 stick salted butter
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shreds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, white wine, lemon juice, minced garlic, garlic salt, Cajun seasoning, and Italian herb seasoning until evenly coated.
- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Dot with 1/2 stick of butter and sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shreds.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, panko bread crumbs, and 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese for the topping. Sprinkle evenly over the shrimp.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through and the topping is golden and crispy.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges or over pasta if desired.
Notes
- You can leave the tails on for presentation or off for easier eating.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce.
