Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Oven & Baking Dish
- Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF and position the rack in the top third.
- Line a baking dish with lemon slices to infuse flavor and prevent sticking.
Step 2: Make the Marinade
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice & zest, garlic, parsley, all-purpose seasoning, smoked paprika, and salt.
Step 3: Bake the Cod
- Place the cod fillet on top of the lemon slices in the baking dish.
- Pour the marinade over the fish, using a brush or spoon to coat evenly.
- Bake at 400ยฐF for 20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Step 4: Optional Broil for a Golden Finish
