- 2/3 cup salted butter
- 5 oz unsweetened baking chocolate, cut into chunks
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 9 Cadbury Easter Eggs (in your choice of flavors)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan or an 8-inch square pan and set aside.
- Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Once melted, remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed until smooth (about 2 minutes).
- Add the melted chocolate mixture and beat on low speed until fully combined.
- Stir in the flour until the mixture is well blended.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Place the Easter eggs evenly into the batter, gently pressing them down with the back of a spoon to partially embed them.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with just a few crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely on a wire rack (about 2 hours).
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
