Scale
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1 pound shoestring French fries
- 1 tablespoon burger seasoning
- 8 slices of cheese
- 12 savory butter slider rolls
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Burger Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon dehydrated chopped onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the shoestring fries according to package instructions until crispy. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, and burger seasoning. Form into 12 small patties.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the patties 3–4 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Mix all burger sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth and set aside.
- Slice the slider rolls in half and lightly toast them with melted butter.
- Assemble the sliders: spread burger sauce on the bottom half of each roll, place the cheesy patty, top with a handful of fries, then cover with the top half of the roll.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- You can substitute any type of cheese, such as cheddar or American, based on preference.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle a little paprika or smoked salt on the fries before baking.
- These sliders can be prepared ahead of time, but add fries just before serving to keep them crispy.
