This Cucumber Cottage Cheese Dip is creamy, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Blending cottage cheese with feta, fresh cucumbers, herbs, and spices makes it the perfect light dip for veggies, pita chips, or as a spread for sandwiches.

- 16 ounces cottage cheese
- 4 ounces feta cheese
- 2-4 tablespoons water
- 2 cups cucumbers, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon sumac
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine cottage cheese, feta cheese, and 2 tablespoons of water. Blend until smooth, adding more water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Add cucumbers, sumac, crushed red pepper, salt, black pepper, basil, olive oil, and lime juice. Pulse until creamy but still slightly textured.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, lime juice, or spices as desired.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Serve with pita chips, fresh veggies, or use as a sandwich spread.
Notes
- For a thicker dip, reduce the amount of water or blend less.
- You can substitute dill or mint for basil for a different flavor profile.
- Keep refrigerated and consume within 2–3 days for the freshest taste.
