- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sautรฉ until softened and translucent.
- Add sliced smoked sausage to the skillet and cook until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add frozen pierogies, cooked sausage, and sautรฉed onions to the bowl. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into the crockpot and spread evenly.
