Description

A rich and comforting Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake, with tender sirloin steak, diced potatoes, melted cheddar, and creamy sour cream โ€” an easy, hands-off meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 large russet potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed sirloin steak, diced potatoes, chopped onion, and minced garlic into the crockpot.
  2. Pour the beef broth over the ingredients and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the steak is tender and the potatoes are cooked through.
  4. Once cooked, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. Mix until the cheese is melted and the dish is creamy.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier dish, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a bit of hot sauce.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding cooked bacon bits or sautรฉed mushrooms.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
