  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  • Prepare the Onions:
    • Peel the onions and cut off the tops, leaving the root intact. Cut each onion into quarters vertically, stopping just before the root, so they stay together.
  • Make the Coating:
    • In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  • Coat the Onions:
    • Dip each onion into the flour mixture, coating evenly. Then dip into the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture to ensure all surfaces are well covered.
  • Air Fry the Onions:
    • Place the coated onions in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking spray.
    • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve:
    • Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
