Scale
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 1/2 pounds chicken wing sections
- Honey Sriracha Glaze:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 pinch sesame seeds, or as desired
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a small bowl, mix together the baking powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the honey sriracha glaze by whisking together the honey, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the honey sriracha glaze until well coated.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
- If you prefer a milder glaze, adjust the amount of sriracha sauce to taste.
- For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- These wings are great served with a side of cool ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce.
