  • 1/2 cup Flour

  • 1 cup Panko Crumbs

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 3/4 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken breasts and flatten to ยฝ inch thickness using a meat mallet. Season both sides with seasoning salt.
  2. Set up a breading station: flour in one dish, beaten eggs in another, and a mix of panko, lemon zest, and parmesan in a third.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with the panko mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF. Cook in batches if needed.
  5. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Stir in flour to make a roux and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Slowly whisk in heavy cream, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  8. Remove sauce from heat and stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
  9. Plate the chicken and drizzle with the creamy lemon sauce before serving.
