- 3 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Mix mashed potatoes with cornstarch and spices.
- Set up coating station with eggs and breadcrumbs.
- Shape mixture into balls.
- Dip in egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Drain and serve warm.
