  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced

  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Tony Chachereโ€™s Original Creole Seasoning
  • Tony Chachereโ€™s Spices Nโ€™ Herbs Creole Seasoning
  • Tony Chachereโ€™s Dirty Rice Dinner Mix

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cabbage: Cut out the core of the cabbage and submerge it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Once cooled, gently peel off the leaves and set them aside.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Brown the ground beef in a saucepan and season with Tony Chachereโ€™s Original Creole Seasoning. Add water and Tony Chachereโ€™s Dirty Rice Dinner Mix. Cook according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan and cook the onion and bell pepper for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and season with Tony Chachereโ€™s Spices Nโ€™ Herbs Creole Seasoning. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes and set aside.
  4. Assemble the Rolls: Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF. Lay a cabbage leaf flat and add a scoop of the filling in the center. Fold in the sides and roll tightly, tucking in the ends. Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet, and pour the sauce over the rolls.
  5. Bake: Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until heated through and tender. Serve and enjoy!
