Description

Dive into a bowl of Creamy Garlic Seafood Pasta, where tender seafood meets a luscious garlic sauce for a comforting dinner experience. This dish combines rich flavors and delightful textures that will impress your family and friends alike.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Pasta

  • 8 oz linguine or fettuccine

Seafood

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 lb scallops
  • 1 lb clams

Garlic

  • 4 cloves fresh minced garlic

Heavy Cream

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Parmesan Cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Butter

  • 2 tbsp butter

Parsley

  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta

Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add your chosen pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water for later.

  2. Sautรฉ the Seafood

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sautรฉ for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the seafood and cook until itโ€™s just opaque, which should take about 3-5 minutes. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Creamy Sauce

In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.

  4. Combine Everything

Return the sautรฉed seafood to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy garlic sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the dish for a burst of color and flavor. Serve immediately for the best experience!

Notes

  • Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
  • Donโ€™t overcook the seafood to prevent it from becoming tough.
  • Adjust the creaminess by adding more cream or cheese according to preference.
  • Save some pasta water to help adjust the sauceโ€™s consistency.
  • Experiment with seasonings like lemon zest or white wine for added depth.
